Five Quick, Easy & Best Recipes to Make in the Microwave Owen

Many of your favorite dishes will be faster and easier to make in the microwave oven, as microwaving is one of the easiest and most effective ways of preparing lots of dishes and its also a nutritious because many microwaved vegetables and fruits lose less water-solvable vitamin C than when cooked conventionally.

 

This is due to shorter cooking time and also because of the fact that less cooking water is needed in microwaving.

We have selected five best recipes which are quick and easy to make in the Microwave Owen:

 
 

(1) Scrambled Eggs with Mushrooms / 2 servings

A. Beat 4 Eggs and 1/4 cup cream in glass casserole dish.

B. Add 2 tablespoons butter, mushrooms, salt, pepper and 3 slices crumbled and cooked bacon, stir to blend.

C. Cook at Med - High for 6 to 7 minutes, or until eggs are almost set, stirring twice.

D. Allow to stand to complete cooking. Garnish with chopped parsley.

(2) Cooked Shrimp / 4 servings

A. Place 450g shrimp (shelled and cleaned) in small casserole.

B. Add 1/4 cup hot water, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon thyme.

C. Cook, covered, at HIGH for 2 to 4 minutes, or until shrimp is opaque and firm. drain Shrimp. Cover and chill.

(3) Potato Parsley Soup / 4 serving

A. Combine 3 cups cubed potatoes, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1/4 teaspoon salt and broth in a medium casserole. Add 1 small bunch parsley.

B. Cook, covered, at HIGH for 10 to 12 minutes.

C. Combine 2 tablespoons cornflour with a small amount of cold milk. Stir into potato mixture. Add 1 1/2 cup milk.

D. Cook at MED - HIGH for 6 to 7 minutes, stir once or twice during cooking.

(4) Sauteed Mushrooms / 2 to 4 Serving

A. Clean 250g mushrooms and slice. Put in an 20-cm (8-inch) round dish. Add 1 clove garlic and 1/3 cup butter.

B. Cook, covered, at HIGH for 6 to 7 minutes.

C. Serve with crisp toast as a main dish.

(5) Homemade Pasta / 3 cups

A. Combine 1 egg, 2 tablespoon milk and 1/2 teaspoons salt. gradually add 1 cup flour, stirring until smooth after each addition of flour to form a soft dough.

B. On floured surface, knead dough until smooth, about 30 times.

C. Roll dough very thin. roll up loosely. Slice dough 0.6-cm(1/4-inch) thick. Unroll each slice and arrange on wax paper lined glass oven tray.

D. Cook at MEDIUM for 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 minutes, or until noodles are dry.
